Spice up your room: Wallpaper

The days are near where I get to be creating vision boards for the rooms in my new place. I can't wait to move out again and have the option to really decorate and settle comfortably. I truly love a well decorated room and someone who has the interior design skills! One thing I do enjoy seeing is the use of design wallpaper. A bathroom would be the perfect place to try out these kinds of designs. A great design worthy backdrop with simple white touches. The white touches being the towels in a woven basket, small flower arrangement, soap & tray, and candles. How soothing and luxurious does this sound?? The next post on wallpaper will be my actual walls...stay tuned, but don't hold your  breath! ;-)

Cluster Love

I'm a huge fan of home interior design and adore creative projects. I especially enjoy the home design blogs when they show before and after photos of a room. If you know me, you've seen my room designed so many times throughout the years. From tie dye walls, Starry Night themed, to now Victorian birdcage. I blame this on my mom, she is constantly re-decorating the house. I remember visiting from college and always finding the living room re-positioned or some room painted a different color. At least she has a good eye for design. So no one really minds, unless we are involved in the constant moving of furniture or items. Ha.

A new obsession has been this cluster of items for wall art. I can't decide whether I like china plates, mirrored frames, or photography art being clustered. How creative are the three projects below?! I can't wait to start my own cluster project. Is there a proper name for these type of projects? Haha, someone inform me. Anyways, who knew various sized and shaped items can look so well together? LOVE. Do you see the Keep Calm and Carry On poster in the last photo? ;)

Tips: Do a mock-setup before pinning the items up. Don't be afraid of gathering from different collections and finding the best items from thrift stores or swap meets. Don't like the color of a frame you like? Paint it!
