Urban Holiday Love
The holiday season is here and you know what that means... the many parties, social gatherings, soirees, happy hour dates, family meet and greets, shindigs or in other words any excuse to find a cute outfit to wear is commencing! Tis' the season to wear sparkle, tights, cardigans, and bold colors! One of my all time favorite clothing stores is Urban Outfitters and I become overwhelmed with excitement when I can find great deals. I especially love their online prices, you will find some great steals.
When it comes to dressing up for parties, I'm always struggling with the "I just want to be comfy" and "but I want to look dressed up". Below are some great pieces I found on the UO site (All under $70!) that I can find myself wearing to any holiday party. I know where my next paycheck is going...
So Fresh N’ So Clean
Here's my latest in favorite mark. products! If you've seen my previous post, you know all about mark. My previous post was about great holiday gifts and now it's time for great skin care products! When I received my shipment of mark. products, they gave me a bundle of samples of facial cleansers and moisturizers. I absolutely loved them that I decided to look more into their skin care collection. Here's what I found!
Not only are these products great to use, smell delicious, they leave you feeling revived. I love how the website recommends which products are great for you, whether you deal with dry skin, oily skin or blemishes more. They also recommend products that work well with each other, so you get the max effect! Here's a collection to get a great routine going. The products below work well for people who deal with blemishes and blackheads. Check out the products on the website to get a thorough description on how they work, why to use, and the ingredients used.
1. Make it Go Away: Removing Wipes, $8 2. That's Deep: Purifying Gel Cleanser, $7 3. See Things Clearly: Brightening Moisturizer, $15 4. Berry Grand: Super Exfoliating Beads, $9. 5. Of course mark. keeps it convenient!

We were privileged to attend another fashion week event or should I say fashion month event since fashion week has been lasting all October. Though, I could get used to all the perks at these events! The line was Lauren-Elaine Designs and was hosted on the Kress Rooftop in Hollywood. First off Kress's Rooftop was fabulous with the lighting, decor arrangement, and hollywood boulevard view. The feel was relaxed, but with good dancing music. Very trendy.
The fashion show went on without a hitch. Words to describe the line: young, fun, pretty and preppy. While I wasn't really feeling the casual lifestyle line, I absolutely LOVED the dressy black label line. The dresses were lovely with an ethereal, sophisticated style. Lots of pastels, dainty details, and length. Check out their website for both casual and dressy lines. Lauren-Elaine Designs can be found in fine boutiques.

Pink October
As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I'm loving all the support I'm seeing. From twitter users sporting pink ribbons and tweeting #beatcancer (Every time it is tweeted, EBay & Miller/Coors will donate $.01 cent to cancer research), NFL teams sporting pink gear, companies donating a portion of their proceeds, walks for the cure, to specialized products made to raise awareness.

Support & Look Hot!
When I saw that ShoeDazzle was featuring a Limited Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Shoe I really had to have it. If you don't already know about ShoeDazzle, it's a shoe membership line by Kim Kardashian. Where you take a fashion questionnaire and based on your choices, you receive different choices every month. If you see a shoe you like, you purchase your choice for the month (always $39.00) and if you don't feel like purchasing a pair that month you can "skip that month". It's really a genius idea, especially for shoe lovers and penny-wise shoppers like myself. When you purchase the hot pink sexy Stephanie pump, 10% of your purchase benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure! A win-win situation.
"1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Early detection is the key to surviving this disease" (ShoeDazzle/Susan G.Komen).

Sushi lover? Then read on...
Ever since I left San Marcos, I'm always on the search for a new sushi spot in Los Angeles. Requirements
include cheap, but delicious all wrapped up in a cute place. Lo and behold, I think I may have found 2 spots to die for!
First up is the famous Katsuya. Yeah I know what you're thinking, "what, Katsuya is definitely not cheap" but I'm talking about their Happy Hour. While portions can be small, they are melt in your mouth status. The Happy Hour menu takes place weekdays from 5-7PM at the bar. So, you ask "What do I order?" Well for food, musts are the crispy rice and rock shrimp tempura roll. And for drinks, the watermelon cucumber refresher is simply amazing. Also, their most popular drink is the Burning Mandarin. Sadly, it isn't on the happy hour menu so girls... this is your time to flirt with the bartender and make it happy hour price!
Hungry yet? I bet. On to numero dos. This sushi spot not only has the Happy Hour Menu, but features the menu everyday from 12-9:30PM! The place is Crazy, Rock'N Sushi and located on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. Massive amounts of deliciousness was ordered and the bill was dirt cheap.
P.S. Both Places passed the test for yummy mochi as well. Vanilla is my favorite!

Now I ask, what are your favorite sushi places?

Krazy for Km2!
Erica: We were first introduced to Km2 Shoes at our internship and instantly fell in love with these beauties. They are definitely "Shoes to live in" as their slogan goes. We had to chance to meet 2 of 3 founders, who happen to the Gelber sisters. Megan and Katelyn are dolls and have a great eye for fashion and details.
Ja'Toi: We were lucky enough to attend the fashion show at Em & Co featuring the trendy new customized shoe brand Km2! They showcased their new line in a peep show style. Models walked the runway showing feather, lace and jeweled studded shoes. Now as a stylist let me just say girls, I love love love, these shoes! They bring out the sexy, classic, and funky style every girl has hidden within them!
