A Glamour Do: Charity!
I am all about Glamour and fun, but this past week I met a woman who brings so much joy to women around the world that being Glamorous is an understatement to her shining personality!
Erica and I attended the Glamour Gal 10yr celebration event this past week and were able to meet the owner of Glamour Gals (non profit organization) Rachel Doyle. The 10 year event which was celebrated at Bimi restraunt had amazing drinks, superb sushi and great networking! Everyone enjoyed the baking whoopie cakes while waiting for the raffle which included a $100 Tea at the peninsula and Fred Segal gift basket. Her amazing foundation allows teens to enter the homes of elderly woman and provide them with companionship and makeovers!
Not only is she spreading beauty, but she is teaching young women everywhere the value of giving back and putting smiles on faces around the world! She has now been around for 10 yrs and I encourage everyone to support her movement and spread beauty worldwide!

My Gorgeous Day
Everything about Saturday, October 24th was top notch gorgeous that I had to share it with you all. If you don't know, I assist for a wedding planner and Saturday was wedding day! My boss, Cassandra, is really great to work with and learn from. It started out with a beautiful drive to Santa Monica at 10am to meet with the bridal party at the Viceroy Hotel. The outside does not describe the inside. The inside was luxurious with modern, sophisticated furniture, chic decor, and moments away from Santa Monica's best tourist attractions: the beach, third street promenade, and the pier. Even the restroom was a sight to see. Check out some photos I took:

*Star Sighting at the Hotel: Ryan Phillipe!
I was at the Viceroy till 2pm helping out with the party's needs and making sure they left the hotel in time to get to their Malibu venue. The couple was gorgeous and great to work with. The bride had impeccable style and beauty. The location is a private mansion up in the Malibu hills, where the owners rent out throughout the year for events. It is simply amazing in every aspect that little decor was needed. A very romantic place indeed. Besides the set up decor and location, the best part of the wedding was the groom and his 3 friends surprising the bride with a quirky, fun love song. Perfect, right? My day ended at 11pm and couldn't have been more gorgeous. Here are some photos from the ceremony:

We were privileged to attend another fashion week event or should I say fashion month event since fashion week has been lasting all October. Though, I could get used to all the perks at these events! The line was Lauren-Elaine Designs and was hosted on the Kress Rooftop in Hollywood. First off Kress's Rooftop was fabulous with the lighting, decor arrangement, and hollywood boulevard view. The feel was relaxed, but with good dancing music. Very trendy.
The fashion show went on without a hitch. Words to describe the line: young, fun, pretty and preppy. While I wasn't really feeling the casual lifestyle line, I absolutely LOVED the dressy black label line. The dresses were lovely with an ethereal, sophisticated style. Lots of pastels, dainty details, and length. Check out their website for both casual and dressy lines. Lauren-Elaine Designs can be found in fine boutiques.

When you think of great Italian Designers you immediately think Prada, Valentino Dolce & Gabanna and Versace. Italian fashion oozes sophistication with an edgy twist. Well new to join the club of greats is L.A. based but, Italian designer Barbara Rosin of Ventidue. The color choices and attention to detail is definitely going to put this upcoming Italian designer at the top with the greats!
After checking out the Emerging Designer’s of L.A. fashion show hosted by Kimberly Cole and Em& CO I fell in love with the new line VENTIDUE! The collection of sophisticated leather sent chills throughout the room! Every piece was tailored to perfection. Her rock-and- roll touch for sexy out going women is getting ready to take over the streets of L.A.! Everyone PLEASE be on the look out for her daring collection!

Krazy for Km2!
Erica: We were first introduced to Km2 Shoes at our internship and instantly fell in love with these beauties. They are definitely "Shoes to live in" as their slogan goes. We had to chance to meet 2 of 3 founders, who happen to the Gelber sisters. Megan and Katelyn are dolls and have a great eye for fashion and details.
Ja'Toi: We were lucky enough to attend the fashion show at Em & Co featuring the trendy new customized shoe brand Km2! They showcased their new line in a peep show style. Models walked the runway showing feather, lace and jeweled studded shoes. Now as a stylist let me just say girls, I love love love, these shoes! They bring out the sexy, classic, and funky style every girl has hidden within them!
