Chip. Smear. Dent. Nick. Smudge.

More than half will happen to me by the end of the week when I get a manicure. At least one by the time I get home from salon place. No, I'm not a total klutz... I try so hard not to smudge my newly painted nails, yet a mishap happens. I finally found two amazing solutions! An affordable and a luxe option.

What I love about both: no dry time and long-lasting!

Sticker Strips

The first, and sensible priced option are Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. These "sticker strips" are applied to your nails and fitted to size with a mini file-buffer and cuticle stick. With fun graphics and colors, you'll have a set of star-worthy nails in no time. Super easy too. Suppose to last ten days. Currently, going on four...

Tip: Be extra thrifty and use the other side of the strip for another nail.

Gel Polish

The luxe option is using Shellac Nail Polish. This new trend uses the Gel Appliquéd and UV Light to create shiny, luscious nails. Not all salons are offering it yet, so call in beforehand to check. I was able to leave without any worry about banging them. My nails have never been so perfect and lasted 3 weeks! The only downside, it's a little work to remove the polish. So worth it!

Insta-Vacation Summer Glow!

Today I had my first custom spray tan and wow, it does work wonders! I went to Spray di Sole in Studio City. In less than 20 minutes I had an instant summer glow. It looked like I just got back from island hopping! By wearing the provided panty and my strapless bra, I was able to see the dramatic results. I loved how I didn't need any make-up, the tan was great. Best of all, it wasn't orange. However, the tan did develop more as the hours passed and I got pretty dark. So, I recommend not getting a spray tan the day of an event or when photos are being taken. It's recommended to get spray at 2-3 days before the event for photos sake. I wish I took before & after photos to show you, but I would rather stick with the website's model ;) See below. Reference Me or Le Petite x2 if you go in! What are your favorite tanning places?

Tips before: No Make-up, No deodorant, No lotion, Shave or wax before, Ex-foliate before, and try not to sweat or get wait for 8-12 hours.

When I come across great beauty products, I feel it's my duty to share! I love the feeling of finding a great product that is reliable (able to purchase without question) and not breaking the bank. In others words, I enjoy having that go-to product! Don't you?! Here are two beauty products that are on my hot list.

24/7 Duo

I'm a big eyeliner fan and feel it's an instant face changer (especially after waking up on the wrong side of the bed). When I borrowed my mom's Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil, little did I know how great it would be. Of course, she buys all the good make-up off the bat. The eye pencil literally lasted all day and did not smudge. Available in other fun colors too!

No skin cancer for me!

Next on the list, in time for summer are the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes. Tanning beds are out and so is sun damage and skin cancer. Let's try our best girls and guys to keep our skin as safe as possible. However, I do love to be tan and will resort these magical towelettes. They will give you an instant and streak-free tan. And best of all, will make you look instantly thinner and toned. Tip: Make sure to be completely dry before re-applying clothes.

Besides the creepy photos and trailer coming out for the new Disney Alice in Wonderland movie, the nail polish collection by OPI is fantastic! OPI is known for putting out great collections inspired by different locations, themes, movies, designers, etc. The Alice in Wonderland collection is no let down. With colors inspired by the whimsical characters and settings, the names of the polish fit perfectly with the movie. From left to right, Off with Her Red!, Mad as a Hatter, Absolutely Alice, and Thanks so Muchness!
